A pricing system for figuring out the maximum retail price of medications has been introduced by amending the National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) Act.

In order to guarantee justice and transparency in the cost of drugs, this action has been taken in accordance with directives from Health Minister Ramesh Pathirana.

As a result, a technique that takes into account the dose form and strength of a given drug has been created to determine its maximum retail price.

To formally announce these modifications, the relevant gazette notification has also been released.

ඖෂධවලට උපරිම සිල්ලර මිලක් තීරණය කිරීම සඳහා මිල යාන්ත්‍රණයක් සකස් කිරීමට අදාළව ජාතික ඖෂධ නියාම අධිකාරී පනත සංශෝධනය කර තිබේ.

සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය රමේෂ් පතිරණ මහතා විසින් ඊට අදාළ නියෝග නිකුත් කර ඇති බව වාර්තා වෙයි.

ඒ අනුව යම් නිශ්චිත ඖෂධයක, ඖෂධ මාත්‍රා ආකාරයට සහ ප්‍රබලතාවයට අදාළව උපරිම සිල්ලර මිලක් නිශ්චය කිරීම සඳහා වූ ක්‍රමවේදයක් හඳුන්වා දී තිබේ.

විනිවිදභාවය සහ සාධාරණත්වය සහතික කිරීමේ අරමුණින් එම නියෝග නිකුත් කර ඇති බව වාර්තා වෙයි.

ඒ අනුව වෙළෙඳපොළ තුළ අලෙවි කරනු ලබන ඖෂධවල උපරිම සිල්ලර මිල ගණන් නිර්ණය කිරීමට නියමිත අතර ඊට අදාළ ගැසට් නිවේදනය ද ප්‍රකාශයට පත්කර තිබේ.
