We are housed in a modern, purpose-built school building in the heart of the vibrant capital city. The building houses some of the finest resources for the arts and sports in the city of Colombo. The British School strives to enrich the lives of young people in its care by providing a holistic educational experience. The School uses the English National Curriculum as the basis of its curriculum. In the secondary school, we offer International GCSE examinations (IGCSE) at the end of Year 11 (when pupils are 16 years). In our provision in the Sixth Form we are unique in Sri Lanka, offering both A Level Examination courses as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
